More pictures from my recent adventure

Left: Approaching Waniban Island by boat. From Masau Resort, you could actually see the island. We were lucky becasue the weather was great, not too windy...so the sea was pretty calm. Right: Upon docking on the island, it's all white sand...very beautiful and pristine.

The sands feel so good on my feet...the water was cool, a stark contrast of the sun's heat...snorkeling here is highly recommended. A few meters away, you can actually go scuba diving already and see beautiful coral reefs.

These are views from the other side of the island. You could say it's rocky compared to its frontier. If you're collecting rocks, you would have lots of finds there. Some of the rock formations looked like those from the movie, "Lord of the flies." Interesting enough, right?

Below are pictures of the infamous "Sleeping Dinosau". It's hard to miss when you're approaching Mati's capital. I took these pictures on our way home though, on top of a view deck. It's quite unfortunate though that the weather was gloomy...but still, you can recognize the shape.

See it? I think it's a baby dinosaur, I guess...with big belly!

A closer look of the sleepyhead baby dinosaur...

I might come back to Mati soon. I still have to go to the other islands such as Pujada Island, Turtle Island in Dahican, Ante Island, Dahican Island, and a lot more. Ciao!

  3. hi to you both, wa kaayo mangadto didto coz you have to rent a boat just to get there, there's no worry for overcrowding really...pero kung isa mo ka barangay muadto, ok na kasi papakyawin nyo nalang yung boat at Php 800. the boat can ferry 20 pax, maximum. From masau resort, dun na mismo kau sasakay kc masau and waniban island manangements has an internal arrangement for island tours.
