I have a very funny story. Hahaha Hanggang ngayon, it's our favorite topic kung nagkikita kami ng barkada sa college. By the ways, I am the type of person who waits than seeks when it comes to friends. Most of my closest friends I didn't happen to exert effort of finding them. It was just sheer serendipity that they happened to be in the same place and time as I was. Kaya nga siguro they last long kasi 'hulog ng langit'! asus, napaka epokrits ko talaga!hahaha
Like a big ocean, where all types of aquatic species co-exist with one another, siyempre ganun rin ang Unibersidad. Lahat ng klaseng tao, nandun... jologs, fashionista, sosyal gurls and boys, pangit, gwapings, matangkad and vertically-challenged, maputi, maitim, medium rare, tibo, dingba, etc. Dahil ang mga tao ay social animals at dahil ayon sa kasabihan, "birds with same feather fly together", siyempre hindi naman lahat ngja-jive kaagad.
To encourage unity among freshmen students, blocking sections are imposed. Hay naku, on the first day of school, tragic na kaagad! Walang gwaping sa block namin...but eventually, our standards of 'gwapo' was compromised at naging pasado sila sa panlasa namin! Buti pa sa ibang schools ang dami...pero engots naman. Sige nga, if you were to choose, ano ang mas pipiliin mo, gwapo na mayaman na mabait pero saksakan ng bobo or yung hindi naman talaga pangit, na hindi rin masyadong mayaman, mabait pero ala Dexter na super talino? Siyempre dun ako sa gwapo na mayaman na mabait!hahaha nyeeek!
Hay naku, teka nga ba't ba tayo napunta sa ganyang tema? I am suppose to be writing about my friends. Well, cge na nga ito na. Promise d na ako mawawala sa focus....
We were dubbed as 'high society' by our classmate who now happens to be in London for a fellowship grant, ka-berks rin namin yun. We don't quite know how he ever came up with such label...hindi naman kami sosyal, in fact, kuripot kami kasi nga we were just living with a student's allowance (of course, Parents' aid) hahaha But well, we have also friends who were quite well-off, mga hacienderos and hacienderas (but deny to the max sila). Initially, upon incidentally learning of such 'label', we were anxious of the perception that other people might have on us. All those time, we thought we belong with the 'gang' (the whole block). Then out of the blue, aba, outcasts pala kami! haha
Because of the turn of events, we have unconsciously detached ourselves from the others. We started studying together (cramming lang, actually!) and we have this study scheme which later proved effective...division of labor. Each one of us is assigned with one subject. He/she is responsible for all the references & readings and coming up with review materials which would later then be distributed to the group. Since mabilis ang systema na ito, we could easily cover all the subjects by just reading the review materials. After that, gimik na! Playstation, movies, popcorn, beers, junk foods, getting to know each other (heller?) and the best part of the programme: tsismisan! hay, sobra pa ang the buzz at S files...to the minute details talaga kami! hahaha

After we have graduated and eventually had jobs, our bonding is usually meeting for dinner at least twice a month then moving to another place, a coffee shop. Tambay lang, updating each with each other's daily drama...anything under the sun and moon pwedeng mapag-usapan. Nakaka-praning nga kasi we've been together for almost 10 years now and ganun parin kami...still laughing at the same old jokes, talking about people from college years, etc. Well, masarap rin kasi parang we've grown together. Wala pang nag-aasawa samin, hmmm, ako ang bet nila eh...grrr talking about pressure!
Here's our typical girl talk....dinner and tsismisan galore! Well, life is so sweet with friends whom you could laugh and even cry with. I love them all...
